My life is nothing short of a testimony of how God can take an ordinary guy and use his life to do extraordinary ministry for Him. We have three Sunday services at 8A.M., 9:45A.M. and 11:45A.M.  Sunday School is at 9:30A.M. Wednesday Bible Study is at 12P.M., 1P.M.(Virtual Only) and 6:3 P.M. You can also join us for prayer on Mondays at 7:30A.M.

Our Sunday services are more traditional in nature but are both contemporary and charismatic. We sing songs of praise, pray corporately, spend time greeting one another, and receiving the word of God from the Holy Bible.

Here at FBC, we LOVE the children! Every Sunday children ages 5 through 18 are invited to participate in our Children’s Church during all three services. Nursery available for 9:45A.M. and 11:45A.M. services.

Since his arrival to First Baptist Church in 2006, God has used Pastor McCarroll to bring about a revival in the congregational life to harvest a greater community impact. Led by the power of the Spirit of God, First Baptist Church has witnessed numerical, organizational, and—most importantly—spiritual growth. With a heart for the community, he has not only served on numerous boards but guided the church to give back to the local and global community through over $800,000 of donations and support.

Pastor McCarroll has been blessed to teach and preach at numerous venues across the country, as well as internationally. Such venues include conferences, conventions, revivals, and retreats. His desire for those to whom he ministers to experience the fullness of their Christian possibility has caused him to approach ministry with sensitivity toward the holistic need for the faith, hope, and love required to encounter the promises and power that rests within a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. To this end Pastor McCarroll endeavors to impact the world for Jesus Christ through the communication and application of the Word of God.

First Baptist Church has a long and prosperous history within the Murfreesboro community. An offspring of First Baptist Church at 200 E Main Street, First Baptist Church has been in existence since its humble beginnings in 1853.

We welcome everyone into the body of Christ and into our First Baptist Church family. We encourage New Members to attend New Members Orientation to gain a deeper insight about our church history, welcoming culture, ministry involvement, and how to stay connected.
