Community Service is an overarching ministry providing support and oversight of our ministries whose main purpose is to serve our surrounding community.

ARDENT WORKERS

Ministry Description:
Ardent is defined by Merriam-Webster as “being characterized by warmth of feeling typically expressed in eager zealous support or activity.” Our Ardent team is a group of our mature female members who are zealous to serve the Lord and our community.

BENEVOLENCE

Ministry Verse:
And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ – Matthew 25:40

Ministry Description:
Benevolence focuses on aid to families with emergency assistance, e.g., rental, utilities, and/or food.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Ministry Verse:
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20

Ministry Description:
International Missions focuses on impacting the world for Jesus Christ through mission trips and planned giving.

NURSING HOME

Ministry Verse:
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ – Acts 20:35

Ministry Description:
Our Nursing Home ministry provides spiritual care for residents at Northside Healthcare here in Murfreesboro. Our goal is to show the love of God through reading Scripture, prayer and singing.

We minister every Saturday of the month (except the first) at 10am at Northside Healthcare.

PRISON MINISTRY

Ministry Description:
The Prison Ministry prays for, communicates with, supports, teaches and ministers to men and women who are incarcerated in Rutherford County.
